have anybody tried contacting that site owner... maybe they are willing to sell the older design version.

It took me a minute to realize it was using classipress. Customizing it like that shouldn't be too difficult really. I am working on something very similar for my install. When I am ready to push live, I'd be willing to explain my procedure.

here's a little sneak peak of my new theme mod inspired by the anunciadero layout:



It looks really nice and has some really cool mods, but upgrading from now on will be a manually process. If there is any interest I can explain how this was done.

I'd be more inclined to push people in the right direction with a tutorial or two. I am not so comfortable selling something that is not completely mine, and I think David would agree with me. That being said, I would like to offer some theme mods that illustrate how "I" would design a classifieds site. And if there are enough people interested and David allowed this, I would be willing to help out designing custom templates for future releases. David did mention there may be alternative themes available.
