Specify a price range (with Custom fields?)

Hi there,

suppose I have users who want to set a price range instead or additionally to a specific price for their classified

how could this be done?

I'm thinking to this to make possible to specify price ranges and search classifieds by specified price ranges

perhaps the price range search could be done differently, for example in an advanced search query? how?

Bumping your thread, it may have been missed due to it being posted during the holiday period.

As with a few of your others threads which have remained unanswered, I am unsure if you are asking for just some suggestions on how things mightbe done, or if you are asking someone how to do it (as in, a tutorial of sorts).

I'm sorry I don't know what you're coding knowledge is like, so this is assumption, but if you are looking to hire someone to do some of these customizations for you, you may want to clarify in your posts. Thanks

thanks I've sorted it out using a plugin called custom fields search - it allows to create a field to specify a price range, if you apply that to prices it will return a price range search

as for the user input of the original classified price, things are a bit different

but for now I'm ok with this
