    Hi,

I've only had a quick look at what you posted so correct me if I'm wrong but the sub domains that site has by way of countries does what exactly.

You click on a country and it redirects to the subdomain which appears to then show posts hosted on the main domain.

These posts are in categories by the looks of things created on the main site. You click on an ad post in say barbados.carawaks.com and it takes you to the post which was added to the main site at http://www.carawaks.com/17/posts/1-A...e-3-0l-v6.html for example.

This part of the url - http://www.carawaks.com/17/posts/1-AUTOMOTIVE/3-SUV/
reads like this Carawaks.com / Barbados / Barbados / AUTOMOTIVE / SUV in the breadcrumb trail

and it looks like they have some form of url rewrite going on to change it to http://www.carawaks.com/17/posts/1-AUTOMOTIVE/3-SUV/

This seems to be in my opinion a waste of time on first look. Everything that this site has can be done using a single instance of wordpress and a few plugins I would have thought.

    Single wordpress site.

Plugin - http://themebound.com/shop/dynamic-m...r-classipress/ (if you see this mohsinoffline half price for me )

    Less hassle all round.

Unless you really really want it like the site you showed I wouldn't bother.

If you do - I can help with the multisite bit but the coding you will have to seek help else where.

I should add that if you wanted a landing page only:
    yoursite.com

and a separate site for each country using a subdomain for each country and all content is going to be separate and hosted separately on each sub domain then yeah okay.

    Like this:

    notquitenew.co.uk

    motoring.notquitenew.co.uk

These are live test sites I have running cp 3.2

The main site is obviously notquitenew.co.uk

If you click auto in the menu nav bar this takes you to the motoring.notquitenew.co.uk site

    This is a multisite setup

Thank you so much for both replies Bleem.
What you typed below is what I want: Where I want a landing page only for the main domain and then a separate site for each country using a subdomain for each country and all content.
I think craigslist is set up this way?
How easy would it be to set it up this way? where on the landing page will be the various countries listed and then when someone clicks on a country it will lead them to the country site being hosted on the subdomain for that country.

I am sorry for all the long typing but I am just trying to explain myself properly.

Thanks a million so far for trying to help me.
