    Coupon value not deducted from total

    I was testing the coupon plugin today and for some reason the coupon discount amount (flat amount) does not show up on the total.\

    To test the coupon plugin, i did the following:

    Cost for featured ad: $0.50
    coupon code: free: $0.50

    When the transaction is processed, the coupon value shows up as $0 and hence the total remains $0.5.

    Do you know if there are any issues with the current coupon plugin? All my themes and plugins are latest versions.

    When I set the coupon value, do I have to enter the "$" sign? I tried with and without and it didnt work both times.

    Please advice
