Paid Registration

Right now users can join with a user name and valid email for free. They are then paced as a contributor.

I was thinking of paid subscription type registration for dealers and retailers and instead of contributors, they would fall into another category of users such as "contributor dealer" or something.

This registration would be tied into the PayPal feature just like the ads are.

In addition, when this type of user goes to post an ad, their ads would automatically be posted and not require them to pay for their ad as it is already part of their paid subscription.

I'm thinking the subscriptions could be a length of 30, 90, 180 or 365 days.

Does that make any sense?

It s a very interesting thing.

When you offer "a package of 10 ads", it's difficult to manage them. With your feature, it s more easy to do it.

You could hide the ad posting form from everyone but registered users (maybe). I'd have to experiment with it.

Just wondering what solution you guys ended up going with for registration for dealers and retailers. I am struggling with how to set this up as a section on my site as well and trying to get ideas.
