    Upload picture form URL

If someone wants to post an Ad but the image is hosted online, instead for downloading the image and then uploading via the post classified, they should just be able to enter the URl

    this is a good idea.

also, it'd be good if classipress can be configured to store uploaded images at a separate image-storing location. then someone can upload there image from photobucket and i can store it in my own photobucket hosting account

    Re: Upload picture form URL

You can simply allow the html codes(through classipress setting) so that users can embed images hosted from other image hosting sites.

But it wont give the image effects. Also if the image host goes down then the images are lost. I think its a patch but not a fix.

We should be able to upload from a URL also.

Is there a news regarding this issue? Because the importet file should be seen in the list of the ads (as an image of the ad). If it is importet into the content, the image is shown just in the content of the ad.
