Classipress Update Disaster!
I'm a newbie who has been working hard to get the website up and running. Finally, I get it going only to have it come down on me like a brick wall. I did this update of the theme. Only what it did was remove my Facebook (took forever for me to get it back), MapPress plug in did not show on the main page anymore (Ugg) and it's the "Main Feature" of my site. I had to have my WordPress tutor walk me through "Code" to get it back again at $75 per one hour session! This morning I discovered "after" getting a email from a potential client (a large auction house) that the memberships are not working!! (What the h?) The New User email is discombobulated. The opening sentence of the email should say %
www.yesfinds.com% only to have a comma appear! (????)
I thought the grumblings from the more advanced people on this site who know Classipress and Appthemes where a little over the top. Wrong! I want to strangle someone. This is so frustrating. I now have to put out another $75 bucks to fix my e-mail for the site! I know I'm learning as I go but this is wrong and stupid. Price gouge the heck out of us for (products) with lack luster customer service.
