Customize Ad Listings Hover Over on Homepage

Say I am using the red.css for classipress and I want the ad images on the homepage or througout the site go red when the mouse hovers over. Where would I edit to achieve this, currently I think the defeault is to hover to a grey kinda colour. I want a red or pinkish colour.

Like the colour this guy is using at the bottom of this thread image "http://appthemes.com/forum/showthread.php/8537-%28NSFW%29-my-new-project"

But just for when you hover over ads as he has it kinda different.
