Extend filter function for "not sold ads only"

Hi,

is there a way to extend the filter on the start side of the page to decide, if i like to see

- all ads
- existing ads
- sold ads?

i figured out a problem because the field "cp_sold_ad" is empty by default. so that means only if an ad is sold it moves to "yes". If the same ad changes it state, it carries the value "no".

So is there anyone who can extend the search function by this feature? A simple checkbox with (only existing) should be enough for that...
