    The factors to select a good Child Theme

    Hi all,

    I have 2 questions regarding buying and maintaining the child themes.

    1- There are many Child themes available in Apptheme website, but I'm not sure what criteria should be taken into account to select a good Child Theme for a website. I think it takes more than just being aesthetic. Wondering if you could share your ideas and experiences in this regard.

    2- After installing the child theme and making the require changes, would our changes be protected if another version of the base theme or child theme gets uploaded?
