Help - categories
Please can anyone tell me how to call up a category in a query please?

I want to look at a category before it calls up the price, something like this

Look at Post Category
If Post Category = ''x''
Then post 'cp_price' followed by the characters 'pcm'
else
Just post 'cp_price'

Any Assistance Please?
