How can i set up Paid memberships for the whole site.

Im getting a lot of spam signups. nealry 30 a day.. some week they go easy on me, other weeks my inbox is flooded with email names like HvGoverns@yamamail.ru or whatever..

i want to charge people for Registering as a member on the site..

is it possible?
This way the spammers wont bother my site anymore.. and if they want to pay $35 to post up spam ads for 365 days, then i shall encourage their enthusiastic wallets.
