How to make comment section invisible?

    Hi all

I know how I turn of the users ability to post comments. But when the option is only turned off i leaves a very ugly box with a text saying "Comments are turned off".

What I want is to make this box and text invisible. I do not want to completely remove the code because maybe one day I want the user to be able to comment on ads but not now so the solution is to make the box + text invisible.

Can anybody tell what code to comment out in what file/files?

    Cheers

    Chris
