Making my template look exactly like the demo site...
I just purchased an Apple MacBook Air and it's the first time using this type of operating system. This is all new to me and I was able to get to the point of adding my own categories and subcategories and now I'm stuck and everything is foreign to me. I want the template I purchased (ClassiPress Developer Edition) to look exactly like the demo site. Also, where exactly would the files be located on my MacBook for changing the header for my site? Which files should I use for placing my logo and any other graphics/information? How do I change the menu at the top of the site and add my own links that would direct customers to the categories I choose? Also, is there an easier way for those who aren't as knowledgeable with web designing, to get and place category icons next to each category, just like on the demo site? Please help me get my site up and running, because I have many people ready to advertise and I don't want to look like I don't know what I'm doing, when I really don't. Is there a way someone could go in for me and make the changes for me, get it set up for me? Lastly, do you have a graphic arts dept. that will assist customers with creating a header for their site? I already have an example of how it will look, see attachment, I just have to take out the domain name I was going to go with when I came up with the idea for a classified ad site, but changed the name since then and I can't locate the individual who made it for me. Again, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
