When the coder tells us 1 to 2 weeks, he really means 3 weeks, and that's without any other issues. If other issues occurs, them a time frame multiplier of 2 applies.

So, 1 to 2 weeks with other problems becomes 6 weeks.

Or a 2 to 4 weeks forecast actually means 6 weeks, but in the real world considering the 2 x multiplier becomes 12 weeks.
