It's not a bug. Featured ads only appear at the top on the home page. This is a WordPress issue and something I hope they fix in WP 2.8.

The feature ad in the demo (Ferrari ad) is not at the top of it's category.
Isn't it supposed to be ?

The email will be sent out later this week. I wanted to make sure any little bugs (if any) are flushed out before opening the flood gates to existing customers. I also need to write upgrade instructions but if you can't wait, you can actually download it now. The original email you got from e-junkie after your purchase has the link to the latest version.

Got it. Yes, you can change this then. It's an option I will need to add in the next release. Edit the single.php page and search for "http://maps.google.com". There should be three instances of it. Replace them all with the Google country map url of your choice and that should do it.

Error log checked but nothing there.
I changed the template to 'edit ad' and 'profile' templates and they both load fine so it's a problem with the Dashboard template.
I uploaded another copy but still all I get is a blank page.

I have got maintenance mode on but this didn't make any difference when turned off.

    Re: 2.9 Bug report

Just an update - I've narrowed it down to a problem with header.php
If I comment out the header call in Dashboard template the page loads (but obviously without any header elements).

Whether I use my own adapted header.php or the supplied file, there's still a loading problem.
It's annoying as with all other files it loads fine.

    Re: 2.9 Bug report

    Finally - sorted it!

    Platinum SEO is the problem.
I deactivated it and the page loaded fine.
Obviously this then means that it's going to be deactivated site wide and I need to use it ... so ... activate the plugin, go to Dashboard page and scroll to bottom of page and check 'Disable on this page/post'.

Hopefully this'll save anyone else the 4 hours it took to me to nail it!
