Hi...

I try to fix my dashboard but there is something wrong, if i have pagelinks left then i can reach Dashboard, Edit ad and Profile, but not my dashboard? http://www.forumstockholm.se/

Only problem I have now is the fact that you cannot post an ad using the modal window.
I've tried with free ads, with paid ads, making a mistake, not making a mistake etc etc etc but no matter what I do nothing works.

Reverting back to the 2.8 theme works fine.

Okay here are 2 things that are not working for me.

First the continue button on the "post a classified" form will not work. I was only able to post an ad by hitting enter after answering the simple math question.

Second, now I can't post any ads. when I hit enter (because continue button doesn't work) I get directed to www.mysite.com/?error=

2 rather important issues.

So glad I started this thread!

Am I right in thinking that as long as the image URLs are copied over they should work correctly (from 2.8 to 2.9)?

Thumbnails are not working on my version, I have no idea why as I have checked all the URLs/ paths etc. Even duplicated the 2.8 set up but nothing.

Accessing the images or clicking on the image ref within an ad loads the fancybox with images correctly so the problem is with the thumbnails not being generated.

grr .. so close yet so far!

Bushman, that's very strange about the continue button not working. Can you tell me what browser & version and OS you are having problems with?

Chifen, can you give me some more details on what you mean?

Point & Stare, try using All in One SEO instead of Platinum. I know that plugin works.

Dave, Platinum works fine for me as long as you remember to switch it off for the Dashboard page (you'll only need to do this once of course).

Also, I have the exact same problem as Bushman - Continue button does nothing whether you enter content correctly or not. If you hit enter the ad is placed despite the fact that you haven't entered the spam number - FF3, Mac 10.5, Macbook.

I'm using Mac OSX and have tried it on FF and Safari neither worked. I also tried it on IE7 on WinXP and also didn't work.

I deleted the theme, wordpress and my database and started over and the Continue button still does not work. It is driving me nuts!

Could there be something wrong with that file?

It's a bug since you're not the only one having this problem. I spent some time trying to figure out what the heck is causing this and I've narrowed it down to the description field. If you enter a hard return and add another line of text, the "continue" button won't work.

It's a jQuery validation bug which you can see in the FF Error Console window. I've sent a note to my development team so they should have it fixed by tomorrow night.

Continue button don't work if you paste letters!! You need to type letter!!
