I'm getting the following error after activating the theme on a clean Wordpress install. Followed instructions verbatim (http://wpclassipress.com/install/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false. Could you please let me know what's going on?

That's very strange. I've never seen that error before. It might be conflicting with a plugin. Try disabling your plugins one at a time and then look at the classipress config page. See if you can narrow it down that way.

Are you running an older version of WP or mySQL?

No plugins, clean install of latest version of WP as I said.

It looks like the php code isn't even executing on this page since it's just printing out the code. Can you attach a screenshot so I can have a closer look?

Is it just this theme? Other themes you have downloaded don't have issues?

Okay, this only seems to be happening on Localhost, and not on my hosted account. Which is not ideal, as I'd like to do a lot of customisation to the front end prior to putting it up online.

So any suggestions?

(and will post admin screen shot later. Yes, the options on the admin screen are not rendering at all. And no, have never had this issue before).

Glad it's working in the hosted environment. Troubleshooting a localhost environment is tough. Something php-related isn't executing properly since the php source code is getting printed out. It could be many different things especially since I don't know your setup.

Default WAMPSERVER environment on Windows. Never had a problem with any other application.

Thanks. It has to be a local config setting and something with your php not being executed properly since you are able to see the actual code. If there was a runtime php error then it would be something with the script itself. Make sure php is being executed on that classipress theme folder.
