    A few questions/probs

Just bought developer license and trying out at pupforsale.co.uk
    1. When an ad is posted and set to draft should an email be sent to admin to let them know?
    2. Welcome email from line says Wordpress, how can I change.
    3. Using wordpress 2.9.2, on listing page clicking Email This Post and Print This Post both take you Page Not Found.

Any info/help will be much appreciated.

    1. Yes, I believe so.
    2. This thread should be of interest to you http://wpclassipress.com/forum/viewt...&t=1054&p=7928
    3. You need the 2 plugins (WP-Email and WP-Print) activated for these functions to work.

    Re: A few questions/probs

    1. No email is being sent to admin when ad posted.
    2. This is now fixed, thanks for plugin advice.
    3. Both plugins were and are activated (and all plugins which needed updating were updated at installation).

Noticed a couple of other things
wp-email is showing nothing at all in logs
When a free ad is submitted and not activated, if the user goes to their dashboard it says awaiting payment.

    1. Does your admin address have any issues with receiving other e-mail such as user registrations?
    3. In terms of both plugins which link to the e-mail and print sections, have you made any modification or changes to the default settings of these plugins from within the WP Dashboard? It could be an issue with permalinks not correctly generated once the pugins were installed. For instance, after you set up WP-Print, you need to re-generate the permalinks (WP-Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes).
Are you having any issues with the e-mail contact form in the sidebar as well or just the link below the ad?

Also, on an unrelated note, your sociable icons need to be aligned. You can read this blog post on how to fix it http://wpclassipress.com/sociable-3-...ignment-issue/

    Re: A few questions/probs

    1. Admin is not receiving any email registrations
    3. Print and email page now working after saving changes in permalinks. (and email being sent) There were no issues with email in sidebar.

    Sociable icons now sorted.

    wp-email logs now showing.

So only problems are email notifications to admin and when a free ad is submitted and not activated, if the user goes to their dashboard it says awaiting payment.

One other thought, is it possible to limit the number of photos in a listing

    Thanks for the help.

    Re: A few questions/probs

Ok, if you're not receiving any of the admin e-mails there's a possibility that it relates back to your host and their security settings. This issue has come up before and pretty much all of them are host related. Sometimes web hosts don't allow emails to be sent from within php code. You would need to contact them to clarify this side of things, and the good hosts will admit it's something to do from their end..

Another option is that you could try this plugin which configures the classipress email with smpt http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

I will have to find out about the ad issue and come back to you..

I'm sure you could change the listing photos with some code changes, but it's certainly not something you can control from the admin dashboard.

    Re: A few questions/probs

the host is bluehost (as recommended).
Is the admin email (user registration, ad notification etc) operated through the wp-email plugin?

    Re: A few questions/probs

In that case I take it back.. definitely won't be a host issue with you're with Bluehost (I also use them). The plugin was just a recommendation from another thread with someone with the same problem with a problem host.

Have you made any modifications at all to the theme or are you using the straight out of the box setup and only recommended plugins? Do your users receive e-mails?

No mods, straight out of box.
All plugins as recommended except for one added today, which would not affect as already had the problem, WP No Category Base Removes '/category' from your category permalinks.
Users receive login details when register.
