confirm email doesn't work (no email sent)

Confirm email is installed on Hirebee 1.3.1 - theme (freelancerr child) + autoresponder plugin (in case of that might cause a conflict) (+ other plug in such as w3cache but i can give a list if needed. Anyway i have tried without any plugins, cleaned cache with different browsers, nothing changes).

Autoresponder works fine but confirm email does not send email and even if i try to resend, nothing happens. On the other hand, confirm email seems to be functional because an user cannot log if he has not activated his account. So the problem seems to be only concerning the notification email, not sent.
