    Access Denied. Your site administrator has blocked your access to the WordPress back-

    Hi,
    I found that when a new user logged in they were directed to the admin immediately and could see listings of mine and other things they should not see. I followed a thread to deny back office access- great - now, as admin I am completely locked out.

    I cannot fathom from any thread how to correct this. Cannot access the site at all.
    Also, seems some contradictions in user settings - does it matter if a user is set to subscriber or contributor please?

    Hoping this is simpler than it seems! Thanks.
