Advice please for wp and clasipress updates

Hi Guys,
i really have an issue but its not urgent this minute but i feel if i was live with my site i would be pulling my hair out or a client would be, unless we were bald
Ok now i started a chat with my hosting provider GODADDY and servers was the discussion, and in 2 years the php language version will change and servers are to old for it now.

so here is the problem, the new wordpress hosting accounts are locked we cant change core files, we can change everything else but not wordpress for this reason i cant down grade wordpress to the one before because classipress 3.5.8 latest version wont work. wordpress on new account is automatically updated for security etc. Now this could be the same thing for plugins and themes also.

just feel all these automatic updates are going to cause a problem in cp updates etc.

now is the daily build version of classipress got all the updates of bug fixes etc as i have an annoying one at the moment were i cant post an ad, says the page doesnt exist.

some guidence would be nice as i need to use classipress, we cant help the automatic updates our server does cause of security but would be nice not to be left alone with this, ive read some threads had some help and thanks for trying.
