It's possible create a mosaic of clickable image posters in hp that open the detail?

Hi All

I would like to create a mosaic on the homepage with all the ads without headline and descriptions etc .. at the click of the image then open the content of the ad. It's possible? Is there some plugin? Or did somebody have ideas on how to modify the code to do so?
