Prevent ads in Xxx category from showing on Homepage Tabs + Slider

Hey,

Could someone share some information regarding hiding ads from a particular categeory on the homepage (slider + tabs area)

I can work with some php code, but is there someone working on a plugin for this? It would be great to know it's being worked on...Someone from 2012 or 2013 posted on this and he or she was told to post in the ideas exchange. I am sure in that amount of time something has been done for this feature as it's quite obvious to need it eventually. More and more people are posting "Questionable Ads" these days, and should NOT be shown on the homepage, but instead, only in the category in which they are posted into. Anyone care to share info on this??
