Translation pack is not working

Hi,

I have instaled the German version WordPress and then Classipress.
To change the language to German i proceeded as indicated:

"Download the language pack listed below and unzip it (customer login required).
Move the pt_BR.mo file into your /wp-content/themes/classipress/ folder
Edit your wp-config.php file and paste in define ('WPLANG', 'pt_BR');
Go and view your site.

Unfortunately, the translation doesn`t works either in front end (website) or the back end (Dashboard).

Help please!
