Adding more options in status dropdown

how can i add more option in the status for a project?? right now it has only the below ones (see attached screenshot hirebee1.JPG)

Open for Applications
Discussing Agreement
In Development
Cancelled
Expired
Archived

i would like to add more option like below
In Progress
In Review
Approved
Completed

also how can i add a status drop-down in the project details page http://nycdesign.company/projects/14...se-paper-menu/ same as this screenshot "hirebee.JPG" so that it will be easier to update the status. the status here need to have only the below options
In Progress
In Review
Approved
Completed

pls revert back on how we can do this
