"You must provide a public email before applying to a project"

What is this "public" email thing I am getting asked all the time? Why isn't ONE email enough? I have never seen anything quite like this. Why don't you just use the first email provided. But on top of this, even providing the second email I still keep getting the same messages again and again. Can someone please fix this? This is the worst (or one of the worst) UX designs I have ever come across. I just bought this thing literally a few hours ago, maybe 2-3 hours ago, and it's bizarre functionality is already apparent, like another requirement to update nickname. Are you kidding me? Where did you guys learn this from?
