Use with network membership plugins

Hello, I'm using jobroller as one site of several on a WordPress network of sites, with a WPMU membership plugin to sync all users across the sites. However, an issue is arising where, even when I have the correct user role selected to post a job, the user from the main site does not have access to any posting of jobs. I'm trying to figure out why the theme is misbehaving in that aspect, and how the best way to go about getting user roles to work best would be. Thanks!
