Category menu 404 error
After having opened and closed the page "categories" the megamenu disappeared and delivered only 404 error
page not found, also the other menu-pages (which i also just opened out of curiosity and closed them again).
Now all menus lead to 404
Creating new category menu point in the
wp menu manager same with them, same with creating new pages using the category-menu-list page template.
Having deleted and undeleted the original categories page brought back the dropdown megamenus in category and ALSO ALL OTHER pages that are linked in the menu like "events, create event, create entry"
- kind of strange!?
Does this mean I cannot use or open the categories page ....
Now i have one unsolved problem:
The main menu point "categories" (parent to the dropdown mega menu) still produces an 404 error while the link is correct: mysite/categories/
How can I get rid of
Either the link in the parent-menu-point so that only the dropdown offers valid links
Or - better: the parwnt menu point openes the categories page with some help text regarding categories.
