Changing text with Poedit and .mo
Hi
I can't quite remember how to do this and I've tried loads of ways and I wonder if someone could put me straight?
This is what I've done:
Changed text using poedit and output .mo file
Changed .mo filename to vantage-en_GB.mo
Changed WP_LANG in
wp-config to 'en_GB'
Uploaded .mo file to various places including Vantage theme folder, Vantage child theme folder,
wp-content folder, language folder in
wp-content, themes folder in language folder
I'm stuck because none of these works; I'm using a child theme so I don't want to change core files
Any help gratefully received
