    Browse Listings button custom field search

    I am hoping to move from Classipress to Vantage but I have 1 issue that I need to solve.

    In classipress I modified the searchform-listing.php file in my child theme to default a classipress custom field so that the search results will be restricted to a subset of ad_listing data.

    I want to do the same thing with the Vantage Browse Listings button in the Search For page. I see the url ends with "?ls=" and need to know how I can use a Vantage custom field to do the same listing subset query.

    Do I have to customize a php file again and if so which one?

    I would prefer to restrict the listings by just customizing the button url but do not know how to. Can you point me to a document or other threads that have this information?
