Using Custom Fields in Listings/Trying to hide empty fields

I'm using shortcodes in a widget for custom fields in Vantage. However, the custom "Field Titles" are visible even when a Vantage author doesn't use them. Is there a way to put it in a custom HTML widget so it doesn't display in the Vantage listing if a field has no entry/value?

For instance, I have a field in the Vantage form called #app_phone-2. I have it in a text widget in the listing with the widget title "OTHER CONTACT INFO" but phone2 hardly gets used by listing authors. In the listing it displays: "Phone 2:" with or without a phone number.
