Install issue's

Is it me or ...

We purchased the plugin and downloaded, unzipped mapsupreme.zip, checked the readme file, this talks about vantage_googlemap.zip, we don't have this file ... but ok maybe a typo. Uploaded the unzipped mapsurpreme.zip to the plugins. (we have basic vantage running). Then the readme says '3)The plugin contains only one PHP file named : vantage_googlemap.php, one icons folder & one js folder and one "data.json" file', we have several folders in the zip, names don't match ?, but ok we just enabled the plugin. Then in listings we found a submenu mapsurpreme .. so we thought we are in business, typed in some settings pressed save. We see a message our wp-content/uploads/data.json needs 777 or 766 , changed it using FTP, but now we have an error saying my file has 0777 which seems to be not correct ? It is also telling we need to press a button "Set Listing lat & lng", where is this button ?, and do we need to when running vantage?, press the button "refresh data right now" again where is this button ?

and then we see in the readme file a bunch of codings we need to add to pages or is this ok when already have vantage running ... and the readme concludes with a "Thank You, Have a nice Day!!" ... uhm can someone please help or provide a proper installation guide ???

we just wanted different markes per categorie instead of the standard vantage pointers ...
