The same thing happens to my site, when I activate wp-favorite-posts I think it's after wordpress 3.2.
It's too bad :/ because it's the only favorite plugin that exist for wordpress.

try to chmod your .htaccess file to 777 and resave your permalinks again.
(it's the htaccess file in the root of your wordpress installation)
