Any Plans for a "Dealer" feature?

I was wondering if you have any plans for a "dealer" feature where someone could sign up for a certain number of live ads or even unlimited ads for a monthly recurring fee? Maybe this should be in the suggestion category, but I am curious to know if that kind of thing could be in future updates before I buy..

Yeah, the "dealers" could post a number set for the month like "30" or make it "unlimited". Have the charge be whatever per month... $69/mo or whatever. Its up to the individual of course.. Imagine 100 accounts like that? $6900 which equals a sweet $82K a year in income! I think it could be a great way to get recurring commissions coming in for the classified owners for those who want to post more ads but want to keep costs down.

I wouldn't mind seeing this as this is the one feature that's stopping me from upgrading to developers! I have a sweet Idea and a sweet domain lined up for my next venture but no feature yet :cry:

Definitely a nice feature. I mentioned this early on, but as this project becomes more robust it might be time for this to be considered.

It is a great idea and I'll add it to my list. At some point, I'm going to setup a poll listing out all potential new features and let the community vote on what should be next. I bet this one will make it in the top 5.

Woot!! That is a great idea! That would eliminate me from having to figure out how charge for extra photo's. Like I suggested in another thread about putting advertising blocks in each categories listings. You have a category Appliances,
sub category stoves, sub category Refrigerators. In each of these sub categories you have a banner ad for a business that deals in that category or sub category, like appliance repair, appliance retail store.

Well, this that function what I wrote on the good ol' wpglamor site already... ;)

My additional "feature requests":
- configurable usergroups: dealers for 10/20/40/100 pcs. concurrent ads/user
- configurable subscriptions periods: 30/60/90 days
- configurable usergroup: free registered users (3 pcs. concurrent ads)
- advanced search (one of the most important, imho): filtering for price, category, etc. (see the "competitor" free WP classifieds plugin...)
- selectable lists items: show 10/20/30/etc. ads per page (see the "competitor" free WP classifieds plugin...)
- users ratings and comments
- favorites: "bookmark" ads
- similar ads

Would be timely to replace on my site the present classifieds script, but these functions are stil lmissing very much.
