Beginner help

Hi all,

I run little website for a village in Wiltshire, England (www.bremhill.com). I have several wordpress blogs hosted on Wordpress, I also have a Synology NAS at home that is capable of running wordpress and an account at Dreamhosts that has a 'one click' wordpress install. I've never had a local wordpress installation and am a little daunted about doing this. Basic customisations on the wordpress site seem fine.

I'd like to set up a little 'for sale' system in our local community and several sites are suggesting that your solution is good - it looks neat so that's great.

I'm just wondering if I'm up to the task of getting it all sorted and running? What do you think?

Since you already have knowledge of using WordPress you'll find that the setup and configuration of the theme is pretty straightforward (you can find documentation here which covers what is involved so you can get an idea). If you're using a hosting provider then you may find this more straightforward than an actual local installation as such, which may require additional configuration outside of a standard setup on a hosted server. Based on what you've said, I'm sure you'll be up to the task ;)
