There are a lot, but heck, I don't know exact numbers ;) Any particular reason why you wish to know?

    Hi Pepsi,
I just want to know if Classipress is a popular theme or not ...
As a brand, a product can be judged by the amount of the users / fans / loyal customers ...
(As we know, there are so many other popular Wordpress themes out there, made by many reputable developers...)

It will help me to make up my mind if there's somebody here can tell me the number..
(Maybe your friend who own / lead the Appthemes team ?)

    :)

    - thanks, pepsi -

With all due respect, I doubt we'll be handing out any exact client numbers, but you can see from the bottom of the forum index all sorts of stats about our forum activity.. that should give you something to go off..

Do that forum activity stats refers to active users ?
Some of them are only users who haven't already buy and activate the ClassiPress theme (not customers)...

But, It's fine, Pepsi.. Forget it ..

(Although actually I'm just curious about the overall number,
not the exact number.. not the exact digit of Appthemes' sale report..)

    :)

Just forgive me for asking that question, Pepsi..

Well, if you don't mind I'd like to ask other questions :

    1.
Who's the founder of Appthemes ? I mean the brilliant person behind these team ?
Where do he (or she) comes from ?
    UK ? US ?

    2.
I believe you guys have been working and inventing so many great Wordpress themes for so many years ...
May I know when Appthemes founded ?
(Just the year, not the exact date, Pepsi ... :P )

    3.
I believe there must be reviews / press coverages about Classipress from famous medias (such as Mashable maybe) ?
If you don't mind would you please share the links here, please ?

    - many thanks for your time -

For the number 3. you may just use google for it. Also Classipress has been featured in the book Wordpress 3 Site Blueprints of which you can purchase from Amazon Amazon.com: WordPress 3 Site Blueprints (9781847199362): Heather R. Wallace: Books .
Please help our moderating team work more efficiently by not sending us support questions via PM. You can read more about how AppThemes support works here. However, you can send a PM to follow up and remind me if I missed your support request/thread.

Thank you and have a nice day.

There is nothing to forgive. You are welcome to ask questions of course.. I understand you're interested in purchasing the product, it's just some of the information you are asking is not readily available, and not the usual kind of thing we are asked about. ;)

The forum stats show you who is online now, who has visited the forums today, and in each of those you can see who are registered members and who are visitors just based on the colour of the username.. so I think it's still a good indication of activity, at least in the forums. At a guess, I would say there are more than 1000 sites that are using the ClassiPress theme right now, but that's really a guess..

    1. David Cowgill is the owner/founder of AppThemes. You can read a little more about him and our team here on the AppThemes Team Page.

    2. AppThemes was founded in 2010, however prior to this, the ClassiPress theme was sold through the WPClassiPress name (and something else before that) for a number of years - back then it was the only theme David offered, so it of course will likely always be our most popular theme, and one that has truly developed over time. With the move to AppThemes, the business is expanding to allow us to offer other Premium AppThemes products.

    3. Perhaps I don't know what you consider "famous medias" (I'll have to ask the man himself for some of his highlights). For now, I guess you only have to Google ClassiPress to find many articles, blog entries, reviews etc about the theme..

but first, I'm digging AppThemes Team Page now ..

My Oh, My... Jomark Osabel, you're a film-maker too? You're such a talented person ..
(I'm doing some video-editing here, working with premiere, after-effect and edius thing :) )

And Mrs Grayston, you're from New Zealand ..
(This is interesting, how come Appthemes has cross-country team member?
Did you ever met each other ?)

    - thanks all -

Our team is located in various parts of the world, so most of us have met only virtually :) Those of us in the moderating team all started off as customers who purchased the themes just like everyone else (and still are), which is how we came to "meet" David.

    Customers and languages

I've try Googling (and find some articles about affiliate things and few scary illegal free download too :D), 'till I finaly realize that:
I've missed the point which is stated clearly in Appthemes homepage itself!

Used by thousands of customers in 18+ language worldwide ..
Simple to translate. We take the complexity out of traditional business software..

and there's another words too from Classipress detail page
.. easy to drop in a new language file without touching any code. Free language packs are also available for some languages.
And also, in the Showcase page there are many customers from many country
such as Malaysia, German, Taiwan and France using the theme...

So, what does 'simple to translate / language pack' means here ?

    1. Is it mean that I will can translate the words via Wp admin page
(without knowing any coding skills) ?

    2. Can I then give visitors and members options to click and pick what language they desired ?
For example, a visitor can choose 'English', 'Malay', or 'Bahasa' in my upcoming site ...
Is it something like that or ?
