import Excel data into Vantage?

I'm interested in purchasing the Vantage theme for a very large business directory, but before I do so was wondering if I can take a huge spreadsheet I have w/ business info and import it into the Vantage app?

Vantage comes with an importer, so You can use the fields of the importer and fill them with the values of your spreadsheet.

can additional fields be added to those that come with the importer?

Yes, you can create "custom" fields with values and import them.What types of fields are you looking to import?
