Linking directory listings to events

Is there a way to link a business listing to an event, so creating an exhibitor list for example?

This is not currently an existing feature within the theme, so it would require customization on your part if you were looking to fully link listings to events in this way. Outside of this, offering a link within the description would be the only other way (without customization). Thanks.

Taxonomies

Would it not be possible to display a list using the event as a taxonomy?

Sure, but it still involves customization as the theme itself doesn't already display the information you originally described. Thanks.
