    Question about public posting

I really like what I've read about this theme but I wanted to make sure it would work for what I need it for.

I don't need the ability for others to post ads. I want to use it for a small electronics business and just display what is for sale from my store with a description. Basically everything the theme does, minus the ability to let the public post ads.
I was considering using something like oscommerce to display my products, but I don't want orders placed online, so this seems to be something I could use instead.
Would this work for my needs? I'm sure I could remove the "post an ad" button, other than that, would it require alot of modifications to remove this functionality from the front end?

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, what you have described will require some customization to the theme, but these are fairly minor changes. You can easily disable registration from the WordPress admin dashboard, so other than removing the post an ad button and some of the links, I think that would be about all you'd need to worry about.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like just what I need, I'll be starting this the weekend.
