From reading the site, it seems there are a number of adverts from AppThemes built into the templates, are these easily removed?

Yes the AppThemes ads (such as what you see in the header/sidebar/ad pagaes etc) are easily removed, you can easily replace banners and headers with your own via the admin dashboard. Thanks.

If the Ads are easy to remove or change, is the "How To" easily to find

Since there are a lot of ads in the AppThemes, are the instructions to change them easily found in the documentation for Vantage etc...

Where is it in the documentation? Is it in a certain section of the documentation?

There is no specific documentation for removing ads, if you're referring to e.g. sidebar ads, they're not there unless you configure them in the widgets. The header logo is a main setting in the Vantage admin clearly labelled as header logo. Ultimately if you get stuck, as a customer you can use the support forums for help as well. Thanks.
