    Just on the topic of the demo site, this has recently been changed over to a demo centre where you can use a theme selector at the top of the screen..

    i am running one site with 3.0.2 and its painful to load. Number of adds really affect speed also.
    Pepsi if you want to test i can forward you link. BTW i am dedicated server which is quite powerful.
