Is there a way to subscribe by city, state, zipcode?

Hi,

Is there a plugin or feature that allows members to subscribe to all new postings (e.g. classifieds) within a specific city, state, zip code, etc. ? If not, how difficult would it be to build a plugin or modify a subscription form to do this?

Hi, this site has a custom search bar function for city or zip, and I think the development team is working on a custom search bar that is similar to the one on http://postpanda.com

I believe they are going to have some type of custom search functionality in v3.1.

Yes, I saw the custom search and am looking forward to seeing whether it will be available in Classipress 3.1.

What I was looking for was a way for a member to subscribe to all classifieds for a given city, state, zip code, etc. so that an email will automatically be sent to the member whenever certain criteria are met. This would be similar to what many travel sites do.

check Subscribe2 plug in (and please share your results ;)

It allows email subscription and I think you can set it per a a specific category.
