    using multisite?

    should you use a multisite with jobroller if you want subdoms? what are the dis/adv ?

    There's no reason why you can't use a multisite installation, it really comes down to why you are looking to achieve in terms of multiple themes/installations on a single site. More of what you're asking is probably best answered on the actual WordPress site, as it's not theme specific. In terms of our themes though, they are compatible with a multisite setup. Thanks.

    if you were to import from an xml feed on each sub would that cause unbearable slowdowns for the sites?

    This isn't a specific function built into the theme, so it's really going to depend on how you've carried out the customization in order to achieve it and also your actual setup. This WordPress documentation may give you some ideas for helping with speed issues. Thanks.
