Vantage Pre Sales Questions re Events

    Hi

    Just a couple of questions.

    (1) Where do you set the 'Events' duration? I can not see it on the demo.

    (2) Are the events fully editable by the user at anytime?

What I want really is to offer Events for 1 year, and the user to be able to edit the event
when it has ended and be able to show another event.

For instance a shop buys events for a year and they can change that event weekly or monthly
if they want to without any further charges during that period.

Can this be done as standard?

    Many thanks

    1) Not sure whether you refer to actual event listings or the expiry of the event itself, so to answer both:
On the Vantage demo site, when you select the "Create Event" button to complete the event information, there is a section for the date and start and end times fields.
When it comes to expiry of the actual event listed on the site, you can determine whether or not it expires or is pruned from the site when it expires. You can't see the settings on the demo site as it is not set up to charge for events, but here is a screenshot of the configuration settings:

    2) Yes the event author can also edit the event from the customer dashboard.

So depending on whether or not you prune those expired events, the customer should still be able to edit the event themselves. Thanks.
