404 page not found

Hi Guys

I am new to this and just installed the latest classipress theme.

Unfortunately I am having problems from the very beginning and was hoping for some help.

My problem is that when you click on an ad or category I get a “404 page not found” message.

I have read most threads on this and most recommend checking the permalink settings. I tried /%postname%/ and also /blog/%postname%/ saved them and still the same problem.

I even dropped the whole database reinstalled wordpress and classipress and still have the same problem.

I called my web host and they were not able to help but noted that there was no file “ad-category” in my directory. Can I just create a blank folder named “ad-category” and insert this in the classipress folder via ftp?

This is very frustrating and help would be very much appreciated
