    Blog Post Display number and Featured Slider

    I tried to searching, but I can't seem to find the right words.

    I want to limit blog posts to 3 or 4 per page. If I set that in the Wordpress->Settings->Reading, then it will only pull that number of ads to display in the featured slider. Is there any way around this?

    This setting also seems to determine how many ads are shown on a category page, I'd like to increase that number as well.
