Category problems
Note this is a freshly installed version of
WP - no plugins installed, etc....
Categories act strange. I have 2 main categories, 3 sub-categories under each, and then two grandchild categories under one of each. Like this:
Cat A
--Sub 1
--Sub 2
--Sub 3
----Grandchild (under Sub 3)
----Grandchild (under Sub 3)
Cat B
--Sub 1
--Sub 2
--Sub 3
----Grandchild (under Sub 3) - Has 2 test posts
----Grandchild (under Sub 3)
Now, on the home page, and if you click the Categories Link, CAT B shows (2) posts (correct); And the Grandchild shows (2) posts....but Sub Category 3 shows (0) posts - huh????
***BUT, if you click on Cat B, that takes you to a category page for Cat B...on the right, there is a category widget. THAT widget CORRECTLY shows Sub Category 3 as having (2) posts and the Grandchild as having (2) posts.
What gives???
