Customising Plugin to use Custom Types

    Hey all,

I'm looking to customise a plugin that was build using the Wordpress default categories - not the custom ones used in ClassiPress. Now I'm not a code developer of any sort but I'm kind of hoping I can just change the "categories" in the script to whatever is used in ClassiPress, my question being - what is used in ClassiPress? ad_cat, ad_categories, cat-item, I've seen lots... or have I got this totally wrong and it's actually loads more work involved?

    Thanks
    Tom
