Image links error

Hello,

I need to adjust the image link on my site. It is currently pointing to http://mydomain.com//2011/03/222121.jpg and it should point to http://mydomain.com/file/2011/03/222121.jpg

Where do I make the adjustment to add the word 'file' to the url.

I need this for the front page, search results page and details page. Just need to find out where to make the changes. Developer has disappeared.
